In October 2019, all Dartmouth alumni were notified by mail and email that the Dartmouth Alumni Council had nominated candidates for three alumni-nominated trustee seats on the Dartmouth College Board of Trustees that will be vacated in June 2020. Alumni were also informed of the petition process by which members of the alumni body could run for these vacancies. The deadline to file a petition was 5 p.m. on December 20, 2019. No petitions were received.
In accordance with Article V, Section 9 of the Association of Alumni constitution, this constitutes an uncontested election, and as such, the Association will not conduct an alumni-wide vote. These nominees will become trustees after a vote by the Board of Trustees.
