Timothy Parker '87

Biography: 

Timothy Parker is the Chief of Staff for the Property & Casualty Group at Nationwide, reporting directly to the President & COO.

Before joining Nationwide, Timothy held progressively responsible positions at Fortune 500 companies, including JPMorgan Chase, General Mills, and American Airlines.

A Philadelphia native, Timothy earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Dartmouth College. He holds a Master of Arts in International Relations, with a double major in International Economics and Latin American Studies, from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He also completed an MBA in Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Timothy has actively served on non-profit boards and contributed significantly to the community. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Community of Caring Development Foundation in Columbus, OH, the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the California Black Women’s Health Project in Englewood, CA, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Bridge of Hope Community Development Corporation in Philadelphia, PA. He has also served on the Dartmouth College Alumni Council. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Timothy is passionately dedicated to mentoring, with a mission to enhance diversity among business leaders in Corporate America. His commitment was recognized in 2019 with the Legends In Business Award from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. In 2023, he received the Dartmouth College Social Justice Award for Emerging Leaders.
