Amanda Rosenblum '07
Amanda graduated from Dartmouth with a major in English Literature and a minor in Gender Studies. She served nearly six years on the Alumni Council and formed the New Alumni Engagement Committee. She previously served as Global Chair for Women of Dartmouth. She founded Women of Dartmouth, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and led the organization during the 50th anniversary of co-education. Amanda has been a long-time leader in DGALA, the Dartmouth LGBTQIA+ Alumni Association. She also co-founded the Affiliated Roundtable. For her service to Dartmouth, Amanda was awarded the Young Alumni Service Award.
While at Dartmouth, Amanda was a pivotal force in the campaign to launch gender-neutral housing. She directed the Prison Project, was a cardinal in Phoenix Senior Society, was an Undergraduate Advisory, and in Mentors Against Violence. She edited the Stonefence Literary Review and was the New Member Educator in Epsilon Kappa Theta. She won an award at graduation for her work to advance LGBTQIA equality on campus.
Amanda has a Master's in Liberal Studies and Urban Education from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. She has a background in executive nonprofit leadership, programs, partnerships, research and evaluation, and professional development. She currently serves as Chief Program Officer at the JCC Mid-Westchester. Amanda founded two non-profits, and serves on several boards in the areas of child development, literacy and education, and human rights.
Amanda lives in the River Towns in Westchester County, New York with her toddler.
