Regan Plekenpol ‘17
Regan graduated with a degree in Government. She focused her studies on global and environmental health, public policy engineering, and human centered design. She rowed on the crew team, was a member of Sigma Delta sorority, sang with ‘The Subtleties’ acapella group, lead Dartmouth Outing Club first year trips, and frequented the Dartmouth Organic Farm. As a senior, she was a Rockefeller Leadership Fellow. As a recent alum, Regan served as Class President for the (Great) Class of 2017 for the first 5-year term, setting the tone for an engaged community post-graduation. Her Executive Council team received the Young Alumni Class of the Year award in 2018.
After Dartmouth, Regan attended Harvard to study public health and nutrition, graduating with her MPH and a certificate in Sustainability. She is now a policy analyst at Harvard Law School’s Food Law and Policy Clinic, working towards a sustainable and equitable food system. She is an ambassador for Harvard’s Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment (C-CHANGE) and is also a board-certified integrative nutrition coach, seeking to help others transition to diets that are healthy for people and the planet. Originally from Hong Kong, she now lives in Cambridge, MA.
