Rachel Bogardus Drew ‘98
Rachel Bogardus Drew ’98 is a proud daughter of Dartmouth. She has served in a number of volunteer positions for the college, including as President of the Alumni Council, chair of the Alumni Council Service Committee, class and reunion treasurer, reunion registration & recruitment chair, class project coordinator, admissions ambassador, mini-reunion coordinator, and chair of her class officer nominating committee.
As a student Rachel balanced her major in Economics and minor in Applied Mathematics with her involvement in her class council, the Dartmouth Women’s Rugby Club, the Green Key Society (Treasurer), Women in Politics, and serving as a student liaison to the Board of Trustees. During her junior year, Rachel was instrumental in the student-led effort to reform Dartmouth Dining Services (DDS) and co-chaired the student/staff committee tasked with making changes to DDS operations.
After Dartmouth, Rachel worked in economic consulting in San Francisco and Washington DC before joining a housing policy research center at Harvard University. She later earned a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts and is currently Senior Research Director with Enterprise Community Partners. She has served on the boards of three non-profit organizations (a preschool, special needs equestrian program, and local U.S. Pony Club chapter) and is an active volunteer in her community. She lives in Lincoln, MA with her husband Jonathan Drew ’98 and their two children.
