Biography:

Heiyab is a proud member of the class of 2004 who continued on at the Thayer School to get his master's in 2006. On campus, he served in several capacities, including vice president of the Afro-American Society and area director of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. Since graduation he's remained closely involved as Treasurer of the Black Alumni of Dartmouth Association, Dartmouth Alumni Council member (serving on the Student Affairs committee), alumni interviewer, and informal mentor to several undergraduates interested in STEM.

Outside of the Dartmouth circle, Heiyab has sought to increase the number of minorities in technology through involvement with pioneering organizations such as Code2040. He first set out in the tech world as an environmental engineer, earning his professional license and accreditation in New York. He's since transitioned into 'faster moving' technology and is currently an engagement manager at Oliver Wyman Labs, where he gets to push the STEM frontier by bringing great ideas to life in new and innovative ways.
